The WOW factor: Dana Torres
I've been following the Olympic trials a bit. Very proud of our athletes, of course. Michael Phelps is having a great run-I hope he is able to beat Mark Spitz's 36 year-old-record of 7 Gold medals in one Olympics. I am loving this comeback story of Dana Torres, the 41-year-old swimmer who has made the US Olympic team once again-her 5th time, mind you!- by kicking the booties of girls half her age! Why? Because she can! She was even out of competition for awhile and took a break to become a mom which is another very worthy pursuit-most important job in the world! It was heartwarming to see her standing on the podium being honored with her little daughter in her arms. That's the kind of story us mature gals can really get behind! Just goes to show you-don't let your self-limiting beliefs control you. Remember the old adage: You can if you think you can!GO, DANA!!

What an inspiration Dana is! "If you can dream it, you can do it". My money is on Dana to bring home the gold.
So many Blogs are a forum for self pity, negative spewage and ranting that when you move on you feel depressed and tired. Its worse than watching the news.
Your Blog is inspirational, uplifting, makes you think and FUNNY. I love your work because even when you post a peeve, you do it with humor and class never demeaning, judgmental or mean spirited.
